Michelle Gillette, FMCHC, is a certified Functional Medicine Health Coach via the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM and FMCA.) She has 4 additional certifications in Brain Health, and is a Martha Beck Certified Life Coach. Michelle’s focus is on supporting clients as they reinvigorate their lives: guiding them make the mind-shifts and lifestyle changes that help them live their healthiest, most fulfilling lives whether that be in terms of their personal wellness, their careers, their family life, or their love lives. Additionally, Michelle’s experience in the financial world as the Sr. VP of a successful Hedge Fund lends itself to an efficient and pragmatic approach to working with corporate clients interested in Peak Performance, creating healthier, more inspiring work environments for employees, customers and clients.
In both her personal and corporate coaching, she shares tools to support clients as they overcome the obstacles and limiting beliefs that hold them back from reaching their full potential. From there, she shares the type of lifehacks, biohacks, products and behavioral changes that help clients achieve their optimal wellness. She follows through by supporting clients through the practicalities of the implementation phase, which is often the critical stage when incremental changes become “lifestyle changes.”
Personal: Michelle lives in Hermosa Beach and is the mother of two well-adjusted college aged teens who she actually enjoys being around. She has personally upgraded her own health by overcoming an auto immune disease called Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, Lyme disease, Mold toxicity and a brain injury— all through the modalities of functional medicine, which gets to the root cause of illness vs. perpetually treating symptoms. She is healthier and more vibrant at 54 and than at 44 or even 34 - and she is a big proponent of the “Age Positive” movement that encourages people to reboot their health, upgrade their lives and live vibrantly at any age.
